I lost her last night
Loss arrives softly, yet its echo lingers louder than possession ever did.
when no one was around in office,
and I was planning to leave for a day
to come back with new hope and fresh mind
At that moment, after punching out,
I realized that I have lost her.
On rainy night,
when no one was around in office,
I searched her, but I realised that i have lost her.
How can i tell you that
She was very important to me,
and great companion,
She was always there to protect me,
But I lost her last night.
Someone’s lost is another one’s gain,
and another one took her away from me,
without thinking of me for a second.
It is not that she betrayed me
But she has no voice and is true obedient.
If someone found her, please return to me,
she is my Umbrella
and her color is black.
I couldn’t found her at reception counter.
[An email I wrote to the entire company on the morning of 26th August 2011, after losing my umbrella the night before.]
